The Hills School is a school community within a friendly and welcoming environment where children feel safe and secure. One of the many things that make The Hills School such a dynamic learning environment is the high level of parent and community involvement and support at all levels of the school's operation. Teachers and parents regularly meet to discuss ways that the home and school partnership can further support the educational needs of their children.
Parents are informed of their child's progress and school activities through informal and formal parent teacher meetings, student reports, information nights and school newsletters. We encourage ongoing communication between parents and teachers to support each student's educational and social development.
The Hills School is a dynamic learning community with a high level of involvement and support from parents and other community members.
The Hills School community is enriched by the active participation and support of parents, community and business members who volunteer to assist the staff in a wide range of school and classroom activities. The volunteer program includes school canteen, water safety and awareness, ground beautification and maintenance, making classroom resources and community access assistance.
