Principal's Message:

Hello all and welcome to the Term 3 Week 10 news

As we come to the end of another busy term, I wanted to take a moment to highlight some of the exciting events that have recently taken place and those that are coming up in the near future.

Our annual Art Show was held on Saturday, 21st September. The Art Show was a highlight of our school calendar, showcasing the incredible artistic talents of our students across various mediums including paintings, sculptures and more. It was a vibrant and diverse display of talent, and I am proud of all the students who contributed their work to make the event a success. Many thanks to Cheryl and the team for bringing us all together for such a lovely event.

In the sporting arena, a number of students recently participated in the multi-sports event at Castle Hill, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship. Congratulations to all the participants for their dedication and teamwork in representing our school with pride.

Our students had a fantastic time at the highly-anticipated End of Term Disco, which was held this week on Wednesday. It was a day filled with music, dancing, and laughter as we celebrated the conclusion of another successful term and an event for the students to be recognised for their efforts as Australian Special Education School of the Year winners. Big thanks to Sarah and the P&C for sourcing some amazing glow and sensory items – they were a hit with everyone. It was wonderful to see our students enjoying themselves and making lasting memories.

As we prepare for the upcoming school holidays starting next week, I encourage everyone to take this time to relax, recharge, and spend quality moments with loved ones. It has been a successful and productive term, and I am incredibly proud of the achievements and progress made by our school community.

Thank you for your continued support. Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable break ahead.
