Grandparents Day 24

Grandparents Day 24

Principal's message:

Hello all and welcome to the Term 4 Week 3 news

World Teachers Day

Last Friday, October 5th, we proudly celebrate World Teachers' Day, a global recognition of the invaluable contributions educators make to society. This year's theme, "Empowering Teachers, Building Sustainable Societies," highlights the critical role teachers play in shaping future generations and fostering a love of learning. It is a moment for us to express our gratitude for the dedication, passion, and resilience our teachers demonstrate every day. Join us in acknowledging their hard work and commitment to providing quality education, inspiring students, and creating inclusive learning environments. Check out teachers from The Hills being a part of the broader department celebrations

Grandparents Picnic

We were delighted to host our inaugural Grandparents Picnic on Tuesday, 19 October! It was a heartwarming morning filled of connection as students invited their grandparents to share in a delightful picnic experience. The event was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the important role that grandparents play in our lives and strengthen the bonds within our school community. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special occasion—your presence made it truly memorable!

Year 12 Graduation

Next Tuesday 5 November we will be celebrating the graduation of our Year 12 students at their Year 12 formal. This special occasion will be a moment of pride for all of us as we recognise the hard work, resilience, and achievements of our graduates. I invite everyone to join us in congratulating each of our graduates and in expressing our gratitude to the staff, families, and friends who have supported them throughout this journey.
